Privacy Policy

We collect only what's needed to run your account and service. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. We store payments with Stripe, send emails with Resend, and host with Railway. That's it.

• ▸Account data: email address and password (hashed)
• ▸Subscription data: tier, status, billing period end - payment info is held by Stripe, not us
• ▸Bet tracker entries: only if you log bets with us (optional)
• ▸Support messages: messages you send us through the support widget
• ▸Win submissions: screenshots + captions you voluntarily upload
• ▸Referral code cookies: if you arrived via a partner link

• ✗No credit card data (Stripe holds that)
• ✗No social security number or banking info
• ✗No cross-site tracking (no Facebook pixel, no Google analytics trackers)
• ✗No location data
• ✗No contacts or device identifiers

Only for providing and improving the service:

• ▸Authenticating your login
• ▸Processing your subscription
• ▸Sending transactional email (receipts, password resets, pick delivery if you opt in)
• ▸Calculating your bet tracker stats
• ▸Showing aggregate (anonymous) member stats if you opt in

• ▸Stripe - payment processing, holds card and billing data
• ▸Resend - transactional email delivery
• ▸Railway - hosting and database
• ▸The Odds API - live odds data for our line shopping tool (we do not share your personal data with them)

We use one cookie for your login session and one cookie for partner referral attribution if you arrive via a partner link. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

You can:

• ▸Request deletion by emailing support@thepickbook.com with subject "Delete my data"
• ▸Cancel your subscription and opt out of all marketing anytime
• ▸Opt out of contributing to public aggregate stats at any time in your tracker settings

Deletion requests actioned within 14 days. Some records may be retained where required by law (tax, fraud prevention).

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions are signed and HTTP-only. All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted to our application server.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, email support@thepickbook.com immediately.

The Pick Book is for adults only (21+ or 18+ where state law permits). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be emailed to active members. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) are made without notice.
